25 May Discernment: Discovering our Inner Truth on a Spiritual Path
FRIDAY, JULY 28, 5PM- SUNDAY, JULY 30, 11AM
We all make decisions — some with careful reflection, some without much thought. To be alive is to face choices constantly. In the different seasons of life, we are challenged to make choices that best reconcile our desires within the world of limits.
Discernment, an ancient practice in many faith traditions, is receiving much attention today in organizations, places of worship and in our individual lives. Quite simply, discernment means becoming increasingly able to notice where the Spirit is at work in the world and in one’s own life – and becoming increasingly generous with one’s own life in response. .
The goal of our time together will not be to guide you on any particular decision or life choice, but to instead explore the ways we can enhance the quality of our decisions and choices using a more holistic approach. Individual Spiritual Direction will be available over the course of the weekend.
Cost: $225 individual/$400 couple, meals & accommodations included
