SATURDAY, MAY 20, 10AM-3PM
Incorporating the language of Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si”, explore the depths of living according to our faith through sustainable practices, caring for the poor, and responding to the current dilemma of climate change. How do we integrate our own understanding of Christianity through our treatment of the land, and our fellow creatures: both animals and humans? Spend the day discussing how to care for our common home, Mother Earth.

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
Lanni Lantto has traveled the world empowering women through the arts. She has spoken publicly on the importance of non-consumption and how to awaken to the reality we can creatively re-use what we already own. She earned a B.A. in Women’s Studies, holds a LLM in International Law, and taught Women’s Studies at Ithaca and Wells College respectfully. Dustin Katona, the Priory’s Executive Director, offers a versatile background in cinematic arts complimenting his dynamic, faith-driven interests, including; Christian Unity, Ecumenical and Inter-religious Study, Dialogue & Prayer, and Byzantine & Oriental Christianity. Dustin co-directed and filmed two documentaries in 2012 and 2015. He is also drawn to Wilderness Preservation, Simple Living & maintaining Sustainable Lifestyle.
